My first two years of medical school were not only hard on me emotionally and mentally, but physically. I was never a super fit person, but I managed to stay thin through college. Some lethal combination of stress eating and sitting down staring at a computer for 12 hours a day made me pack on the pounds (of course). This year though, I had had enough! I’ve been working out consistently for a little over a year now. But nothing got serious until I started eating right this January. Since then I have lost NINE pounds and I feel better than I ever have! I would have been lost on this journey without my countless accountability buddies and friends I’ve made along the way. They are who have motivated me to make the intimidating but exciting decision to become a fitness coach online! I will start hosting accountability groups on Facebook and continue posting positive and motivational things on Facebook and Instagram. I can’t wait to see where fitness takes me next!
